This month we joined Captain Scott Lum of Outcast Sportfishing Charters located in Cape Canaveral, FL for a half-day fishing trip for tripletail. Capt. Scott Lum has been chartering and commercial fishing tripletail for many years and his experience catching, handling and filleting these fish for consumption is as good as it gets.

The tripletail is one of the best tasting white-fleshed fish in Florida. Very mild, firm, flaky white meat makes it a dinner table favorite for many anglers. Easy to cook and hard to mess up, these filets can be grilled, broiled, baked and fried. Anyway, you do it, it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
